Process management certification by TÜV AUSTRIA
Who does what, when, and with what?
... is one of the central questions of process management. The aim is to use the information which already exists in each company with regard to its own processes to better focus on the customer, and as a result to achieve the company’s aims more effectively. An optimal, process-oriented organisation form is becoming ever more meaningful to companies. On the company side, this means that demand for staff with specialised knowledge is rapidly increasing in the professional world.
Certification from TÜV Austria is internationally recognised thanks to its exacting compliance with the strict requirements for staff certification listed in international standard ISO/IEC 17024.
Since 2007, the next level academy in cooperation with TÜV AUSTRIA offers Staff Certification in Process Management.
Certification is awarded following a neutral confirmation of your process management skills upon completion of the next level academy’s course "Process Management", and allows you to hold the legally protected title of Process Practitioner or Process Expert. This can furthermore be used to establish qualification standards within your company, which can generate marketing benefits.
Entry requirements for certification
Several criteria must be fulfilled before applicants are awarded certification. The certification applicant must as part of the application perform a self-assessment by means of a questionnaire, to provide confirmation that they fulfil the requirements.
The four-module course "Process Management" is another of the entry requirements. For both certification levels, a process handbook and/or a case study of an actual process must be drafted. The actual certification consists of a written and an oral section, in which the applicant’s knowledge and skills are reviewed by independent assessors.
The Baseline (QFM-PersZ) lists the knowledge elements which are required for successful certification. In addition to the theoretical knowledge of the knowledge elements contained in the Baseline, practical experience of process management is also required. The following overview lists the conditions for successful certification / re-certification as a Process Practitioner and/or Process Expert.
The certification testing is done by means of a multiple choice test, in which more than 2/3 of the questions must be answered correctly within 60 minutes, as well as an oral examination. Once the underlying training is completed successfully, an official TÜV AUSTRIA certificate is awarded.
